What we collect
If you fill in the catering request form on the home page, we receive the name, phone number, date and notes you typed, so that we can call you back and confirm the order. That is the only form on this website and it is the only information it sends us. We do not ask for a card number anywhere on this site, because the site cannot take money.
Our web host keeps ordinary server logs — the IP address of the request, the time, the page fetched and the browser string. Those logs exist to keep the page online and to see whether it is being scraped or attacked. Nobody sits and reads them for marketing purposes.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, trade or share your details with anyone. Not with brokers, not with lead buyers, not with other restaurants.
- We do not run an affiliate programme and we do not earn a commission on anybody else's food.
- We do not take payments through this website, keep a card on file, run a subscription, a plate club, a membership or any recurring charge.
- We do not ship food, deliver through an app, or take orders from outside our county.
Cookies and tracking
This page is plain HTML and CSS. There is no login, no shopping session, no advertising pixel embedded in these pages and no third-party analytics script. If we advertise this shop through Google Ads, measurement happens on Google's side of the click, under Google's own policies, not through a tracker we planted in your browser here.
How ordering and paying actually works
You call the counter, or you walk in, or you send the catering form and we call you back. We quote the price on the board plus Florida sales tax, and that is the number. Payment happens at the register when the food is handed over — cash or card — or at the moment a catering tray is delivered. There is no deposit taken in advance, no fee introduced later and no charge for anything you did not receive.
If something is wrong with your order
Call (904) 217-4083 the same day and ask for whoever is behind the counter. If a tray was short, wrong or late, we replace it or we take it off the invoice. We do not promise results we cannot deliver, and we do not make health, dietary or medical claims about any item we serve. Allergen questions are answered honestly at the counter — this is a small kitchen where meats, cheeses, wheat and nuts share the same room.
Food safety and licensing
The shop is inspected by the State of Florida and St. Johns County as a retail food establishment. Hot holding is logged every two hours and must stay above 140°F; anything that drifts below is discarded rather than served. Inspection reports and licences are on file at the shop and available to anyone who asks.
Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If a child sent us a catering form as a joke, write to us and we will delete it.
Your requests
Ask us by phone or email what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it. There is very little to hold — a name, a phone number and a note about a tray — and we will remove it on request. Requests are answered within a few business days by the owner, not by a ticket system.
Changes to this notice
If anything here changes, the date at the top changes with it. The version you are reading is the one that applies, and it is served to every visitor and every crawler identically at the root address https://shutda.shop/.
